The 15th Conference on Research & Development in Power Engineering will be held on 30 November – 3 December 2021
with Honorary Patronage taken by
the Rector of Warsaw University of Technology (WUT)
The 15th Conference on Research & Development in Power Engineering is organized by the Institute of Heat Engineering (WUT) and the Institute of Applied Research (WUT) in collaboration with the Committees on Energy, Thermodynamics and Combustion, Polish Academy of Sciences.
Over the years, this biannual event has become a leading forum for discussing issues related to the sector of power engineering for representatives of industry and academics. It is a platform for exchange of knowledge, raising questions and providing answers on the state-of-the-art power engineering by people with unquestionable expertise in the field.
Bearing in mind the challenges which the sector of power engineering has been facing, the conference can be considered as an important event to shape the European and Polish energy sector
Conference fee:
● 1 400 PLN / 1 200 PLN* (if paid till 6 October 2021)
● 1 600 PLN / 1 400 PLN* (if paid after 6 October 2021)

Conference fee includes participation in the conference, conference materials, lunches and participation in related events.

In order to submit a summary of the article, you must log in to the RDPE Conference website (login and password are valid from previous RDPE Conferences). After logging in, the USER HOME field will appear in the top menu, which you must click on. After clicking on the USER HOME field, New Submission will appear. In step 1, the Submision checklist will appear (you have to select all options). Step 1 ends with save and continue - at the bottom of the page. In step 2, you can now enter the title of the article and summary.

There is no obligatory template for articles, because they will be published after the Conference in various Journals. Articles can be sent via the website in doc, docx, pdf format file according to your own formatting.
30 November 2021 – acceptance of papers by the Scientific Committee of RDPE and forwarding to review in the journals.
Conference registration of at least one of the authors is compulsory for a journal review.
A book of abstracts of articles will be posted on the website of the RDPE 2021 Conference. After the Conference, the submitted articles will be qualified for publication in Journals. The qualification of articles for individual Journals will be made by the RDPE 2021 Scientific Committee.
Positively evaluated papers are planned to be submitted to Energy, Renewable Energy, Archives of Thermodynamics, Journal of Power Technologies, Rynek Energii, Instal, Energetyka, Energies (for an extra charge) for the consideration of publishing according to the publishing standards and requirements of the journals.
The Conference will be conducted in English.

The 14th Conference on Research & Development in Power Engineering took place 3–6 December 2019. Institute of Heat Engineering of WUT and Institute of Applied Research of WUT Ltd. organized together with the Committees on Energy, Thermodynamics and Combustion, Polish Academy of Sciences and in agreement with the Polish Chamber of Power Industry and Environmental Protection the Research and Development in Power Engineering Conference. This event, organized every second year, has become a leading forum for the power sector employees and scientists. This is a place where academics can exchange their knowledge with the power sector representatives and present what they have in offer for them.

Submitted papers and positively evaluated will be published in a reputable international publishers (Further details will be provided in the announcement No. 2). Selected papers as a result of the evaluation of the Scientific Committee, will be directed as in the previous years to publications in reputable international and national journals.
